Exporting a List of Active Matters

Overview: This article will give you the steps to export Active Matters into Excel. 


  1. From the Navigation Pane select View Clients and Matters List under the CLIENTS & MATTERS drop-down.  

  1. The View Clients and Matters List page will open.  Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Export Clients & Matters List from the drop down. 

  1. Select Run Reports.  

  1. The Downloads box will pop-up on your screen showing the report as a CSV file. Select Open File on the CSV to view it in excel.

This will open the exported data in a spreadsheet:

The report will list Client Name, Matter, Number, Last Activity, Current Balance and Responsible Attorney. Once in EXCEL you will be able to FILTER, SORT etc. with the data. 

To EXPORT a list of ALL clients and matters, select Export Active & Archived Clients & Matters List Report  and then Run Reports
