Editing a Payment
This tutorial will walk you through the steps to Edit a Payment in TrustBooks.
Note: You can not edit the amount of a payment if the payment has been reconciled.
- In the upper right corner of your dashboard to type the client name into the Search Bar:
- The View Clients and Matters List will be displayed for the searched name. Click on the Client's Name with a payment you wish to edit:
- The Client's Ledger will be displayed. Click anywhere on the payment you wish to edit:
- The Edit Payment page will be displayed. Here you can edit any of the payment fields and click Update to save.
- A pop-up warning window is displayed. Click OK to confirm the changes to the payment.
