Enabling Negative Balances

Overview

This tutorial will walk you through the steps to Allow Matter Balances to go into the negative in TrustBooks. 

We suggest this feature stays disabled, but if for some reason you have made an error outside of TrustBooks and need to fix the error by taking the matter balance into the negative this feature will allow you to do so. 

We recommend after the error has been corrected that you disable this feature.

Steps

1. Start on the Dashboard Page, select MISCELLANEOUS. 

2. Select Manage Firm Settings, and then Manage Optional Features. 

3. Select Enable. 

4. Select Save and Close.  

Note: To Disable the feature after you have completed your correction, simply select DISABLE.
