Understanding payee names on checks

Overview: This article will explain how Payee names and their corresponding fields show up on checks.

Step 1. When creating Payees you have the option to enter the following information beyond the required Payee Name and Print Name on Check As.  The checks are set up to be used with a window envelope to mail to the payee. 

Note: If you wish not to have the address show up on the check then you can leave these fields blank.
